Fill out the form in full. You will receive a confirmation email.
After your information has been reviewed, you will receive an activation email from the Data Center (ZDV). Follow the steps provided in that email.
Two additional emails will contain your JGU account credentials (username beginning with “ub…”) and a 6-digit PIN.
Once you receive the fourth email, please visit the circulation desk in the Central Library during staffed hours and present your ID card (or passport plus official German registration certificate). You may also submit these documents digitally by email. Minors must provide a signed parental consent form (PDF).
The annual library fee can be paid at the circulation desk or by bank transfer. Your account will be activated once payment is received.
Your digital library card will be available in the JGU ID App (Play Store, App Store).
